For the highly anticipated Iris Apfel x H&M collection which launched on April 14th, consisting of an assortment of eclectic dresses, sets, and extensive accessories designed in collaboration with the 100-year-old style icon Iris Apfel. To kick off the launch, H&M engaged The Gathery to conceptualize and execute an innovative luncheon for top-tier media and fashion influencers at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach.

We provided guests an inside look into Iris’ candid perspective on all things style, encouraging each to “Find Your Inner Iris” by wearing specially designed smart glasses inspired by Iris’ iconic, thick-rimmed frames. In the spirit of democratizing fashion, guests were invited to capture the luncheon using the custom smart glasses and share with their broad social media followings and friends. With streaming capabilities developed, the idea was to give any fashion lover the opportunity to participate in compelling conversations with the industry’s heavy hitters and fashion’s most beloved icon. Further, we opened the luncheon up to one of the H&M loyalty members so that they could take part in person.

We were tasked with taking the world of Playboy and re-imagining its magazine to create an unprecedented live experience.

Activation across two days in Los Angeles and four days in New York City, the immersive, visually-driven platform transported hundreds of guests into the pages of the "glossy," and highlighted the re-articulated Playboy mission for a new generation of readers.

Leveraging curated programming with thought-provoking panels and powerful interviews, our activations focused on Playboy's Spring and Summer 2019 issues celebrating freedom of expression and sexuality. Coupled with sensual music acts and groundbreaking video installations, we fortified the undisputed legacy of the brand while contextualizing its place in today's cultural zeitgeist.

Part 1 was a pop-up shop in the Flatiron district of NYC that allowed guests to explore Blue Apron, including its new "Grab and Go" offering, which was available for purchase. Visitors were also able to experience unique programmings, such as cooking classes and panel discussions with notable chefs, including Sam Kass, Marco Canora, Tamar Adler, Agatha Kulaga & Erin Patinkin, and Colu Henry.

Part 2 was a mobile pop-up experience that toured the West coast, allowing passersby to engage with an interactive "Box on Wheels" to learn more about Blue Apron products in a fun and memorable way.
